So I must confess...I made this about 2 1/2 months ago, took photos intending to blog about it and completely forgot due to the constant sickness that has overtaken my household this spring. It's not that it wasn't good. It was extremely delicious, in fact and a new family favorite. I just forgot.
I've seen this floating around cyberspace (do they still call it that?) so I'm not quite sure who came up with it originally. Either way, it's really good, simple and unlike most pasta dishes out there. Enjoy!
Bacon Ranch Chicken and Noodles
2 Tablespoons bacon, fully cooked and chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1 packet ranch salad dressing mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
egg noodles, cooked
Spray a 5-6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Trim chicken of excess fat then place into slow cooker. In another bowl, combine bacon, garlic, ranch dressing mix, soup and sour cream. Pour mixture over chicken. Cook on high heat for 3-4 hours or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Shred chicken with a fork. Serve chicken mixture over noodles.
